Why do we need all this stuff?

Prior to this form being implemented over 90% of enquiries were unable to be adequately answered because of insufficient information being provided enabling us to identify the specific item enquired about. Forms with inadequate information will be unable to be answered.

Example - Fuel tank for vehicle:

The Diesel models are invariably different from the Petrol, which will be different again if LPG conversion has been done. Wagons are different to the Cab Chassis and SWB is often different to LWB or MWB or Dual Cab different to single cab and in some cases like the Patrols we also need to know what transmission is fitted because the tank shape changes with the split transfer case. With some 60 series Landcruisers the difference between the auto and manual transmission is important and it would come as a surprise to know that the type of airconditioning system changed the auxiliary tank required.

The more information we have the easier it is for us to give you the correct advice with the minimum of hassle.
